The people building Stima — from Paris, with deep roots in the markets we serve.
Founder & CEO
Previously led hardware integrations at Volta Charging (Paris), where he designed the OBD-II telemetry pipeline for 400 commercial EVs across three French cities. Left after six months in Nairobi convinced him the same problem — battery blindness — was bigger, harder, and more urgent in emerging markets. MSc in Electrical Engineering, INSA Lyon.

Head of Engineering
Built the real-time data pipeline at Kobo360 (Lagos) that processed GPS and load telemetry from 3,200 trucks across West Africa. Architected Kobo's offline sync layer, which became the direct predecessor of Stima's edge module buffering system. Expert in time-series databases, Kafka, and embedded C for CAN bus applications. BSc Computer Science, University of Lagos.
Head of Data Science
Former battery degradation researcher at ENGIE Lab CRIGEN (Paris), where she published two peer-reviewed papers on LFP cycle life modeling under tropical temperature conditions. Her Kalman filter SoH model, adapted for Stima's production environment, reduced false-positive failure alerts from 31% to 8.3% in field testing across 40 vehicles. PhD in Electrochemistry, IIT Bombay.
We are a small team with a clear problem and a product that works in the field. We are looking for an embedded firmware engineer (CAN bus / C++) and a field operations lead based in Nairobi or Lagos.
